Whether its at national, state, or local level, FTM can tailor affordable campaigns to help attract government funding, impact policy and regulation, or help raise private or public funds to help run your programs.

National - Fund the Arts

State - Hands off Boston Bay

Local - Homework Clubs

Method

+high impact media campaign +influential supporters +academic advisory panel +sector support + local events +highly impactful political outreach +policy development

Outcome

Campaign goals largely met through Labor’s National Cultural Policy and funding commitments around ABC funding, local screen content quotas, funding of Trove, First Nations support, regional arts funding, industrial protections for artists.

Method

+high impact media campaign +cohere industry support +organise community support + local events and bay tours with politicians +social media campaign in seat of Flinders +political outreach

Outcome

Massive swing in South Australian state election in target seat of Flinders, then the safest seat in SA. There was a 24 percent swing against the incumbent party to Hands off Boston Bay supported candidate. The preferred site for a desal plant was moved, which was the campaign goal.

Method

+high impact media campaign +linked fundraising campaign +political outreach

Outcome

The homework clubs run by and for migrant communities in social housing almost closed down due to a lack of funding. We got a lot of media coverage pre the Victorian state election and soon won significant private and government contributions to allow the homework clubs to continue to function.
